You know there has to be a special reason for the existence of the smallest Rolls-Royce and you’re not wrong. In what can only be described as the classiest move by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, they have unveiled a seminal new concept in luxury, crafted for the one and only St Richard’s Hospital Pediatric Day Surgery Unit in the marque’s home town of Chichester, West Sussex.

Christened the Rolls-Royce SRH, car is driven by children through the Pediatric Unit corridors which are lined with ‘traffic signs’ as they head towards the operating theatre- a brilliant move to reduce patient stress.

A thrilled tot on the tiny Rolls-Royce

As the children zip to the operating theatre, they enjoy the very best of the marque’s Bespoke Manufacturing team in a two-toned paint-scheme of Andalusian White and Salamanca Blue car finished with a hand-applied St James Red coachline. Even the interiors is a testament to the perfection of Rolls- Royce with two-tone steering wheel, seats and self-righting wheel centres perfectly colour-matched to the St James Red coachline. Underneath the hood sits a 24 volt gel battery that propels it to a top speed of 10mph.

In addition to developing competency in new chassis and electronic technologies, the project team also utilised 3D printing techniques for the design. This included production of the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy and the bespoke paddle controls.

Kudos to Rolls-Royce!
