The Home Collection will be showcased with the wide collection from tables, chairs to sofas and accessories. One of the store’s highlights is the Vlinder sofa, a recently launched piece that combines the archetypal form of a contemporary sofa with a fabric that was exclusively designed and developed to fit this sofa’s shape. The innovative textile bears the signature of Dutch designer Hella Jongerius and pushes the boundaries of modern weaving technology.

Along with key products from the Vitra portfolio, the new store will present an assortment of products by Artek, a Finnish brand owned by Vitra, featuring designs by Alvar Aalto and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.

“With the opening of our first store in Malaysia, we take pleasure in giving our customers a place to experience our collection of classic and contemporary designs – where they can learn about our heritage and the value of authentic products. The Vitra Store will also offer the architecture and design community in Malaysia a place to develop projects with Vitra both in the office and home sectors”, comments Nora Fehlbaum, CEO of Vitra.

Patricia Mok, Executive Director of Haus Living Concepts Sdn Bhd, says: “Haus is proud to partner with Vitra, which is internationally renowned for their leadership in design and architecture. We are also excited about bringing Vitra products into Malaysian homes and offices and catering to the increasing demand for beautifully executed and elegantly functional designs.”
